VIE/PANGEO Financial Analyst

Job Description

The assignment is based at the Business Line Waste Headquarters in Hamburg, covering a scope of 7 entities. These include plastics recycling facilities, paper trading activities, key account management, and sales controlling. The dynamic and demanding working environment offers excellent opportunities for personal development.

Responsibilities:

Enhance sales reporting for the Business Line Waste in collaboration with Sales Managers, the Financial Department, and the Business Intelligence Team.

Execute similar tasks for our logistics company.

Work directly with Managing Directors on strategic initiatives.

Contribute to reporting processes for monthly closings and budgeting.

Participate in key finance projects such as KPI reporting, digitization, process improvement, and cash management.

Hands-on role involving preparation of PowerPoint slides, Excel sheets, SAP extracts, financial/controlling/treasury analyses.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Strong degree in Business Administration (Bachelor's/Master's specialized in Finance).

Previous Experience: Experience in financial controlling, audit, or consulting is highly valued.

Skills: Proficiency in Google Applications (GSheet etc.), SAP R3 / S4 is a plus, advanced Excel, PowerPoint.

Languages: Fluent in German and English.

Other Attributes: Strong communication, organization, analytical skills, attention to detail, result-oriented, hands-on approach, ability to challenge figures/reports/analytical stories.
