Job Title: Wastewater Process Engineering Lead – Australia & New Zealand. Location: Sydney, AUS (Flexible across Australia). Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite with remote work flexibility

Responsibilities:

• Foster collaboration across teams and regions.
• Mentor staff to promote technical leadership.
• Lead technical solutions for major wastewater projects.
• Stay updated on wastewater trends by engaging with global water leaders.
• Solve treatment challenges with innovative solutions.
• Involve the team in large-scale, global wastewater projects.
• Coach & mentor staff to broaden wastewater expertise.
• Recruit and develop top talent aligned with company goals.
• Encourage continuous professional development within the team.
  
• Promote AECOM’s expertise in wastewater treatment.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Drive strategic project opportunities and lead high-priority pursuits.

Qualifications:

• Essential: Relevant tertiary degree (e.g., Environmental or Process Engineering).
• Preferred: RPEQ / RPEV or CPEng accreditation.
• Significant experience in the wastewater treatment industry.
• Expertise in wastewater processes, technologies, and environmental regulations in ANZ.
• Proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
