Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Job Description

Langan is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join its team in Texas, focusing on design and permitting efforts for water and wastewater projects across various development sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and permit water and wastewater components for residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization.

Engage in Business Development activities to secure new clients and maintain relationships.

Manage site/civil work including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion control, etc.

Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering aspects into land development projects.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.

Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.

5+ years of local site/civil engineering experience in land development projects.

Strong client development and management skills.

Expertise in water and wastewater design and hydraulic analysis.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

Active participation in professional organizations.

Ability to work independently, mentor staff engineers, and collaborate effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and multitasking capabilities.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
