Wind Service Technician

Job Description

Job Title: Wind Service Technician – Vega, TX

Responsibilities:

• Perform planned & unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, & part replacement on wind turbines.
• Conduct technical tasks like commissioning, system integration, & maintenance.
• Support customers remotely & onsite, resolving product issues & ensuring operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed & report safety concerns;
• Work in various weather conditions & adhere to safety regulations.
• Travel up to 50% & work flexible hours, including nights & weekends.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of training in the iron/metal industry or electrical field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to climb wind towers (up to 300 feet) & work in confined spaces.
• Must meet body weight restrictions (265 lbs. or less) per equipment safety regulations.
• Pass a physical exam, drug screening, & maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
