Wind Site Manager

Job Description

As the Wind Site Manager, you will oversee all operational aspects of the wind farm, focusing on safety, performance, and profitability. Responsibilities include enhancing maintenance practices, diagnostics, and operational efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Operational Safety Policy Instructions and OSHA regulations.
• Lead Business Lean Six Sigma processes and projects.
• Manage recruitment, development, and retention of site resources.
• Accountable for safety, environmental reporting, financial reporting, and turbine availability.
• Collaborate with NextEra stakeholders on operational feedback, maintenance, projects, and financial performance.
• Represent NextEra Energy professionally in community and customer interactions.
• Oversee wind field operations within contractual responsibilities for external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated adaptability to different geographic locations.
• 5+ years of experience leading field services operations, preferably in wind turbines or rotating equipment.
• Proficiency in complex organizational collaboration and executive presentations.
• Six Sigma green belt or similar quality assurance certification.
• Strong technical skills in network infrastructure, communication protocols, and web technology.
• Track record in managing profit and loss responsibilities and thriving in cross-functional environments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with PGD operational model processes.
• Lead by PGD shared values.
• Develop cost-effective operations and maintenance programs.
• Interface with stakeholders including landowners, utilities, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor and control plant budgets.
• Meet contractual obligations.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: 5+ years
• Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
