Wind Technician III

Job Description

Job Title: Wind Technician III – Allen, NE USA. Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment to maximize energy generation.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain minor components while assisting with major components as needed.
• Conduct current and voltage calculations and ensure compliance with Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to maintenance and repairs.
• Utilize crane and rigging knowledge for facility operations.

Qualifications:

• Skilled in using electrical testing equipment (e.g., DMM, meggers) and hydraulic tools.
• Knowledgeable in electrical theory, troubleshooting techniques, and wind farm operations.
• Experienced with heavy equipment and familiar with maintenance/testing tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record meeting outlined criteria.
• Comfortable working with low- and medium-voltage equipment.
• 3+ years of work experience in wind energy or a B.S. Degree (electrical/technical) with 1+ year of related experience.
