Job Description

Job Title: Wind Technician Internship. Location: Peetz, CO. Goldthwaite, TX. Duration: June 2025 - August 2025

Responsibilities:

• Assist in observing the work of Invenergy technicians, learning about turbine operation and maintenance tasks.
• Support the safe, compliant, and efficient operations of wind fleets;
• Perform hands-on tasks related to wind turbine operations and maintenance, gaining industry experience.
• Work outdoors, including at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet), in varying weather conditions;
• Help ensure the operational success of existing wind energy sites.

Qualifications:

• Targeted completion of Certification Program or Associate’s degree in Wind Energy, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Renewable Energy, or Sustainable Energy (Graduation between May 2024 and December 2027).
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Completed OSHA 10 training;
• Ability to work at heights, in inclement weather, and handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs.).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Benefits/ Instructions:

• Hourly pay of $20.00 USD.
• Interns may be eligible to contribute to a 401k.
• No relocation expenses or housing allowances will be provided.
