Job Description

You’ll be part of the Power Plant 2 team, collaborating with colleagues to form a diverse and inclusive operations and maintenance team. Your role will contribute to our safety culture and involve working with engineering specialists to enhance our wind farms’ performance. As a team, we prioritize collaboration to achieve our goals, supporting personal development while upholding our Guiding Principles and key values.

Responsibilities:

Leading teams of technicians in scheduled and reactive maintenance to maintain consistent high quality, efficiency, and safety across all assets.

Assisting the site operations team by providing feedback to improve our first-time fix rate.

Maintaining safety procedures and reporting any hazardous conditions, observations, and incidents in the HSE management system.

Promoting utilization and upskilling across platforms within the West Coast region of the UK.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical turbine components.

To excel in this role, you should:

Possess extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience of the Vestas V164 platform.

Demonstrate strong team leadership skills, approachability, and effective communication with your team and stakeholders.

Provide technical feedback and guidance to team members for mutual learning and development.

Approach your daily tasks with a positive, proactive, and systematic mindset.
