Job Description

Job Title: Wind Turbine Technician I. Location: Tiverton, Ontario

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance, fault analysis, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines.
• Conduct main component replacements, including blades and other essential parts.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces while adhering to safety protocols.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for weekends and after-hours emergencies.
• Collaborate in teams of 2-3 technicians, typically climbing 1-2 turbines daily.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work, or a wind technician certification.
• GWO certifications (Basic Safety Training, Basic Technical Training, Advanced Rescue Training) are highly preferred.
• Agricultural or transferable technical experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a safety-first mindset.
