Position: Service Technician

Location: Co. Cork/Kerry area, Preferred Home Location: IE-Kilgarvan

Do you want to contribute to the ongoing battle against climate change and make a real difference? Join our Onshore Service team as a Service Technician, with the potential to progress to Maintenance Technician and Troubleshooter levels. This position is site-based in the Co. Cork/Kerry area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical/mechanical scheduled & unscheduled maintenance activities on varied wind turbines.
• Coordinate & accomplish defined service operations & resolve product issues on customers' equipment.
• Assist in completing contractual extra scopes including TMSE, crane, & lift inspection & maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens Gamesa standards in relation to EHS, Quality, & Service delivery.
• Provide accurate reporting into & utilization of the MORS database & other electronic workflow systems.
• Supervise SGRE team members, 3rd party technicians, contractors, & sub-contractors for various required scope delivery.

What You Need to Make a Difference:

• Passion for renewable energy & a sense for the importance to lead the change.
• Professional experience in electrical/mechanical fields.
• Previous experience in the wind industry is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Technical knowledge of working on wind turbines is preferred.
• Experience working with MS Office applications; knowledge of MORS & Fluix is an advantage.
• Full IE/EU driving license.
• Willingness to travel is beneficial.
