Lead Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Position: Lead Electrical Engineer. Location: Malmö, Sweden; Aarhus or Videbæk, Denmark; Hamburg, Germany. As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the success of renewable energy projects by overseeing electrical compliance, conducting grid integration studies, and contributing to project optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Value Engineering: Contribute to the design and negotiation of electrical solutions for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with customer and grid requirements.
• Risk Assessment: Assess and mitigate technical risks during the Value Engineering/Negotiation phase, managing technical annexes and contract schedules.
• Grid Integration Studies: Collect electrical data, prepare Engineering Pre-Design (EPD) studies, and review results to optimize projects.
• Support Construction & Commissioning: Develop grid compliance test protocols and support the execution of tests during the construction and commissioning phases.

Qualifications:

• Education: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems.
• Experience: 5+ years in regulatory electrical requirements, grid codes, and power system evaluations.
• Skills: Proficiency in power system simulation software (DIgSILENT/PSCAD/PSSE), knowledge of HV/MV equipment, industrial automation, PLC hardware, SCADA systems, and communication interfaces.
• Project Management: Experience in wind industry projects is advantageous.
