Job Description

Position: Lead Electrical Engineer  

Location: Malmö, Sweden; Aarhus or Videbæk, Denmark; Hamburg, Germany  

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the success of renewable energy projects by overseeing electrical compliance, conducting grid integration studies, and contributing to project optimization.

Responsibilities:

Technical Value Engineering: Contribute to the design and negotiation of electrical solutions for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with customer and grid requirements.

Risk Assessment: Assess and mitigate technical risks during the Value Engineering/Negotiation phase, managing technical annexes and contract schedules.

Grid Integration Studies: Collect electrical data, prepare Engineering Pre-Design (EPD) studies, and review results to optimize projects.

Support Construction & Commissioning: Develop grid compliance test protocols and support the execution of tests during the construction and commissioning phases.

Qualifications:

Education: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems.

Experience: 5+ years in regulatory electrical requirements, grid codes, and power system evaluations.

Skills: Proficiency in power system simulation software (DIgSILENT/PSCAD/PSSE), knowledge of HV/MV equipment, industrial automation, PLC hardware, SCADA systems, and communication interfaces.

Project Management: Experience in wind industry projects is advantageous.

Competencies:

Technical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and root-cause analysis.

Communication: High proficiency in English; additional Nordic language skills are beneficial.

Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment and manage stakeholders effectively.

Motivation: Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and within an international team.
