Dev. Engineer Electrical Pitch & Yaw

Job Description

Job Title: Development Engineer – Electrical Pitch & Yaw (m/f/d). Location: Sarriguren, ES | Chennai, IN | Hamburg, DE | Rostock, DE

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & analyze electrical pitch & yaw systems, including frequency converters & energy storage for grid outage scenarios.
  • Program PLCs using CoDeSys & parametrize pitch converters based on functional specifications;
  • Conduct system-level testing, document results, & verify field data to ensure optimal performance;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications & review supplier solutions.
  • Create technical documentation, including FMEA, manuals, & technical notifications.

Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field (automation, power electronics, electrical drives preferred).
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink & experience in PLC programming (CoDeSys, Python is a plus);
  • Strong data analysis skills;
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or German is a plus;
  • Structured, autonomous, & solution-oriented work approach.
  • Ability to travel for testing (up to 20% of working time).
