About
Founded in 1985, the Nordex Group has a solid history of launching industry-leading products. We pioneered the mass production of 1 MW turbines in 1995, were the first to enter the 2.5 MW class in 2000, and introduced the first 4+ MW class turbine, the N149/4.0-4.5, in 2017.
Currently, we are focusing on turbines in the 4+ to 6+ MW range. In selected markets, the Nordex Group also acts as a project developer for wind farms. Our production facilities, located in Germany, Spain, Brazil, the US, and India, manufacture nacelles, rotor blades, and concrete towers. The company operates offices and branches in over 30 countries.
Nordex SE, the holding company, is listed on the TecDAX and MDAX of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN: DE000A0D6554). The company’s headquarters, along with the Management Board and central corporate functions, are in Hamburg, while its legal entity is registered in Rostock.
