Job Description

Job Title: Lead, IT Daily Operations. Location: Madrid, Spain

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary IT Operations lead in Madrid, ensuring seamless day-to-day technology functions for Spain locations.
• Resolve incident and support requests promptly using ServiceNow, maintaining effective ticket management.
• Collaborate with Server, Network, Applications, & Desktop Engineering teams globally for issue resolution.
• Oversee and manage projects, ensuring deliverables meet expectations while providing status updates to stakeholders.
• Perform light administration of servers, networks, and applications as required;
• Manage relationships with contractors & vendors, ensuring tasks are completed effectively.
• Monitor critical business systems and ensure proper alerting and documentation;
• Participate in the IT Change Management process and assist in deploying new construction site technology.
• Travel within Spain (e.g., A Coruna) & occasionally abroad to support offices & projects.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior IT team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; technology certifications preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT leadership or management roles.
• Proficient in Spanish & English with strong communication skills;
• Experience with Microsoft technology stack, Windows servers, Cisco devices, Palo Alto firewalls, & Aruba wireless.
• Strong organizational, analytical, & customer service skills;
