Offshore Commissioning Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Offshore High Voltage Commissioning Manager. Location: Hull, UK, Gdansk, Poland, Vejle, Denmark, Hamburg, Germany

Responsibilities:

• Lead & oversee high-voltage (HV) safety measures & operational protocols on offshore wind projects.
• Serve as Lead Senior Authorized Person, managing HV safety & compliance.
• Respond to global on-call requests, providing technical expertise & leadership.
• Supervise third-party HV contractors to ensure work quality & adherence to safety standards.
• Train & mentor technicians in HV systems, safety protocols, & operational best practices.
• Develop & conduct training sessions & workshops for Senior Authorized Persons & Authorized Persons.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering & sales teams to provide technical input during project planning.
• Travel up to 80 days per year for site visits, hands-on installation support, & training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (power systems) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in offshore wind, grid operations, power plants, or similar industries.
• At least 2 years of documented experience as a Senior Authorized Person in the wind industry.
• Strong technical & leadership skills, with experience in managing international teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment while handling multiple tasks.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).
