Job Description

Job Title: Operational Excellence Specialist – Renewable Energy. Location: Madrid, Spain. Join our Operational Efficiency team within the Solar O&M division, where you’ll drive performance optimization for photovoltaic plants in Spain. Your work will focus on monitoring, analysis, & reporting to improve operational efficiency & reduce downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze & report KPIs, production data & technical events for photovoltaic assets.
• Identify technical & process inefficiencies & support improvement plans.
• Conduct performance analysis for inverters & trackers;
• Lead regular meetings with plant managers to address technical issues.
• Oversee environmental sensor monitoring for operational accuracy.
• Support the global Solar Technology Operational Efficiency Program;
• Model & analyze power curves to enhance plant performance;
• Develop & refine dashboards & models using Power BI & analytics tools.
• Share best practices & innovative solutions within the solar technology team.
• Assist in new solar plant design & construction phases.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Energy Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, OSIsoft PI, SAS, Power BI, data analytics & UX/UI design.
• Experience with photovoltaic plants, inverter power data, & operational efficiency KPIs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving & analytical skills;

Preferred:

• Deep knowledge of EGPE’s internal operations & O&M units.
• Fluency in English; basic knowledge of Italian.
