Job Description
Job Title: Specialist Marine Procurement (f/m/d). Location: Multiple locations (Hamburg, Aarhus, Copenhagen, Warrington)
Responsibilities:
- Lead & coordinate negotiations for offshore wind projects in Northern & Central Europe, specifically for SOVs and CTVs, with potential involvement in installation and service jack-up vessels.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders (operations, legal, etc.) to develop go-to-market strategies, draft RFIs/RFQs, and manage the supplier evaluation and selection process.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for offshore operations logistics assets, aligning with Vestas’ overall strategy;
- Build & maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as sales teams, marine experts, and global peers, to ensure successful project execution.
- Actively engage with vessel companies and offshore wind suppliers to improve quality and safety performance;
- Contribute to the development of Vestas’ corporate vessel contract templates, policies, and processes to enhance safety and quality standards.
- Manage the contracting process to ensure Vestas’ interests are represented and risks are mitigated.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in negotiating marine contracts, including Bimco Supplytime and ASVTIME charter parties, in the wind and/or oil & gas industry.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and/or LOGIC contractual frameworks is a plus.
- A commercial or contractual background combined with operational knowledge of the offshore industry.
- Experience in large-scale offshore projects.
- Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of German or Scandinavian languages is beneficial).

- Advanced negotiation skills and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English required.
